Woke up early to replace my Z3’s cracked lower intake boot before going to work.
Managed to lean too hard into a radiator pipe and cracked it at a connection while working.
I still haven’t gotten the damn boot off and now I have coolant leaking everywhere. What a mess.
On the bright side, I had to drive my 1800ES to work today and that was a fairly pleasant experience. :)

Wait a minute you got the 1800es going? Last I remember it was parked with not much hope.

Can you tell me more about the Z3, I like them quite a bit.

Heck yes! :) Been running smoothly since January!

I really love it. It handles great - fantastic grip on those wide rear wheels. Little things are crappily made, like locks and interior finishes and all that stuff. There’s some serious body stiffness issues with the convertibles, but nothing you can’t get past.
The 3.0i engine is an absolute dream. I highly recommend it. It’s not the Z3M, but it’s the next best thing.

I got to start paying more attention on here. I’m on here everyday and I have absolutely no recollection of this at all.

I posted about getting it running, then again about breaking down, then again about putting it up for sale running great. :)
I don’t know how you missed these orange treasures!

Yeah, interior wise they are pretty damn basic. I don’t mind it though, as I want to te break down the least!
